POLICIES AND INFORMATION

  • CHECK IN time is between 4:00 and 6:00 pm. Due to staffing please notify us well in advance if you anticipate a late arrival. Arrivals outside of these check in times may necessitate a self check-in. In that case we will provide detailed check-in instructions prior to your arrival.
  • As we prepare for new arrivals the Inn is closed and unavailable for check in or bag drop between the hours of 11:00 am and 4:00 pm.
  • CHECK OUT is 11:00 am. Late check out of noon may be arranged if the room is not reserved for an incoming guest.
  • Rates are based on single or double occupancy only.
  • BREAKFAST: A grand breakfast will be served in the dining room daily at 9:00 am. With advance notice of dietary restrictions we will delight you with an amazing breakfast that meets your needs. We will gladly prepare a Breakfast-on-the-go for those heading out early!

  • DEPOSITS: a deposit of one night stay is required at the time of booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, e-checks, and US currency.
  • CANCELLATIONS: Huckleberry Hill Bed and Breakfast is a small Inn and, unlike many hotels, we do not overbook our rooms. When we guarantee an accommodation it will not be booked to another party, guaranteeing you the particular room of your choice. A refund of your deposit (less a $75 cancellation fee for a reservation of up to 2 nights plus an additional $25 per additional day over 2 cancelled – per room reserved) will be offered only for cancellations 14 days or more in advance of your scheduled arrival date.
  • MINIMUM STAY: We require a two night minimum stay on regular week-ends and a three night stay on Holiday and special event week-ends. Holidays and Events may require a minimum three night stay at week-end or event rates. Holiday/Event week-ends may include – but are not limited to – New Years, MLK, Valentine’s Day, Presidents’ Day, Lost in the 50’s, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Festival at Sandpoint, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
  • ACCESSABILITY: Unfortunately our 1965 home is not handicap accessible
  • SMOKING: We are a smoke free Inn. Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms, on patios or decks, nor anywhere on the property where it may impact other guests or pose a fire hazard. Our smoking policy includes all types of tobacco, e-cigarettes, etc. Violation of this policy will result in a $250 penalty assessed to your credit card and we reserve the right to ask you to vacate the premises immediately upon such violation.
  • CANDLES: Due to insurance requirements, and for the safety of our guests, no open flames are allowed in rooms. Flameless candles are provided.
  • CHILDREN: We are happy to welcome children only when your group reserves all rooms.
  • PETS: Although we have a loving Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd “house dog” named Huck, we do not allow guest pets. We are happy to assist with setting up local boarding for your pets.
  • USE OF PROPERTY: The use of Huckleberry Hill Bed and Breakfast property is strictly limited to registered guests unless prior specific arrangements are made with the Inn Keepers.
